Five steps
- Sign in. Creating the account does not include credits. Packs start at €5 for 40 credits, and they never expire.
- Upload one PDF that already has a text layer. The self-service cap is 100 MB and 50 pages per file.
- Check the source language. AnyLangPDF detects it from the embedded text and fills the field. Change it if it is wrong.
- Choose languages from the 58 on the form. Each language costs at least 5 credits. The cost is shown before you spend credits.
- Open the link. The reader chooses the language and can read the PDF in the browser. Layout, images, tables, and fonts stay when the text was already there. The file stays in your account until you delete that PDF.
There is no public API. A picture of the page is not translated. Add a text layer with Adobe Acrobat or OCRmyPDF, then come back to step 2.

Why the browser is enough
You can open AnyLangPDF in a current desktop or phone browser. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge are the ones people use. There is nothing to install on the computer that holds the PDF, and nothing for the reader to install either. They open the link.
That is also the limit. The file has to come with selectable text. The upload has to fit in 100 MB and 50 pages. You choose the languages. The reader does not get a separate file for each language unless you download one. One link covers the languages you published.
A scanned page is a different job
A scan is a set of pictures. AnyLangPDF does not translate a scanned page. It does not read handwriting. The text has to be selectable before the five steps above do anything useful.
If the pages are pictures of text, add a text layer first. Adobe Acrobat can do that recognition as its own step. OCRmyPDF is another program people use for the same step. When you can drag a cursor across a sentence, upload the PDF here.
What you pay
Credit packs start at €5 for 40 credits. Standard is €15 for 150, Pro is €60 for 600, and Enterprise is €500 for 6000. Packs never expire. Each language costs at least 5 credits, and a longer document costs more. The browser shows the number before you spend credits. New accounts start at zero credits. If the translation provider rejects the submission, the credits for that submission are refunded.
